Requirement: Professionals with an undergraduate degree in Psychology and registered in Regional Psychological Associations and other professionals who work in the legal field (Lawyers, Social Assistants, among others).
The course is designed to the professional practice of psychologists who work as technical assistants in law courts, prisons, and related fields. It aims to qualify and equip psychologists to work as specialists, enable a broad reflection on the scope and ethical and social limits of the psychologist’s work in legal and institutional situations, train psychologists to find solutions for theoretical-practical challenges, and reflect on the reality of their legal work according to the Brazilian Child and Adolescent Statute (ECA).
Legal Psychology is one of the most promising emerging fields both regarding its labor market, which is increasing significantly, and the importance of the psychologist's presence in social spaces included in the scope of their work.
