The Environmental and Sanitary Engineering course provides students with skills to work in compliance with the sustainable development in the integrated management of natural resources. Students will be able to work in the design, operation, and control of water supply and treatment systems, in the wastewater treatment, solid waste management, and control of air, soil, and water resource contamination.
After graduating, you will be capable of working in urban and rural areas, public and private entities, industries, non-governmental organizations, and research institutes, for instance.The main working areas comprise the sanitation area, such as water, wastewater, and solid waste treatment; the natural resource area, such as natural resource protection, handling, and conservation; and the environmental management area, in adaptation and licensing activities.
